In Loving Memory of Bertha Miggnontte Hunt

January 5, 1956 – September 30, 2026

With heartfelt sadness and unwavering faith in God's promises, we announce the passing of Bertha Miggnontte Hunt, affectionately known as Mother Hunt, who entered into eternal rest on September 30, 2026.

Mother Hunt was a devoted woman of God whose life was a beautiful reflection of faith, love, compassion, and service to others. A dedicated prayer warrior, she believed in the power of prayer and was always willing to offer words of encouragement, spiritual guidance, and comfort to those in need.

Her passion for ministry extended beyond the walls of the church through her involvement in prison ministry, where she shared God's love, offered hope, and touched the lives of many. Mother Hunt had a caring spirit and a heart for helping others, leaving a lasting impression on everyone blessed to know her.

Beyond her devotion to God, Mother Hunt found great joy in life's simple pleasures. She enjoyed playing cards and bingo, sharing laughter, and spending quality time with those she loved. She was also known for her delicious cooking, especially her famous stuffed ham, which became a cherished favorite among family and friends.

Above all, Mother Hunt treasured her family. Her unconditional love, nurturing spirit, and unwavering faith were the foundation of her life. She will be remembered for her kindness, her prayers, her warm heart, and the love she so freely gave.

Although her earthly journey has come to an end, her legacy of faith, love, and service will continue to live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched.
