Obituary

With profound sadness and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Juan Pierrie Hawkins Jr., who departed this life on July 6, 2026, in Maryland at the age of 23. Though his time on earth was far too short, Juan lived with passion, determination, and a love for his family that left a lasting impression on everyone blessed to know him.

Born on October 18, 2002, in Clinton, Maryland, Juan was a vibrant soul whose smile, ambition, and larger-than-life personality could brighten any room. He possessed a fearless spirit, an unwavering drive to succeed, and a heart that remained deeply devoted to those he loved.

Above all else, Juan was a proud and devoted father to his precious daughter, Sayyora, who was the center of his world. She brought him immeasurable joy, purpose, and hope for the future. His love for her was unconditional, and everything he worked toward was with the desire to build a better life for his little girl.

Juan leaves behind his loving mother, Felicia L. Rice, and his father, Juan Perrie Hawkins who will forever treasure the memories they shared with their beloved son. He is also survived by his cherished siblings: Sade Brooks, Ayanna Hawkins, Larry Gross Jr., Da'Shayla Onley, and Antonio Onley Jr. Their bond was one of love, laughter, loyalty, and countless unforgettable moments that will forever remain in their hearts.

He is lovingly remembered by his grandparents, Virginia Wills, Charles Rice, and George Hawkins, along with his devoted cousins Destiny, Desiree, Tyra, and Shaquita, and a large circle of aunts, uncles, extended family members, and friends who loved him dearly.

Juan was preceded in death by his grandmother, Rosa Hawkins; his uncle, James Hawkins; and his beloved nephew, James Walker. Though they welcomed him into eternal peace, their memories remained close to his heart throughout his life.

Juan attended schools in Charles County and proudly graduated from Thomas Stone High School, Class of 2021. After graduation, he entered the construction industry, where his strong work ethic, determination, and willingness to learn earned the respect of those around him. He believed in working hard, creating opportunities, and never settling for less than his dreams.

Known by many as a true hustler in the most admirable sense, Juan constantly sought ways to grow, build, and provide. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to create his own clothing line, showcasing his passion for fashion and his natural sense of style. He also founded his own business, Million Dollar Pedals, turning his love for cars and dirt bikes into something uniquely his. Never afraid to express himself creatively, Juan also pursued music under the rap name "100waysiprofit," using his lyrics to tell his story, inspire others, and share his vision with the world.

Juan had an undeniable love for life. Whether he was riding dirt bikes, working on cars, listening to music, creating new business ideas, or spending time with those he loved, he embraced every moment with enthusiasm. His laughter was contagious, his confidence inspiring, and his loyalty unwavering. He had a gift for making people smile, bringing energy wherever he went, and reminding those around him to keep striving no matter the obstacles.

To know Juan was to love him. He believed that success was earned through perseverance, faith, and determination. While his journey was unexpectedly shortened, the impact he made will continue to live on through the lives he touched, the dreams he inspired, and the love he gave so freely.

Although words cannot ease the pain of his passing, his family finds comfort in knowing that his legacy lives on through his daughter, his family, his friends, and everyone fortunate enough to have shared in his life. His memory will forever be carried in the stories told, the lessons learned, the laughter remembered, and the love that remains.

A visitation celebrating Juan's life will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at New Life Church in La Plata, Maryland. A funeral service will immediately follow from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Juan will then be laid to rest at Heritage Memorial Cemetery, LLC in Waldorf, Maryland, with the burial beginning at 12:45 p.m.

Though our hearts are broken by his absence, we are forever grateful for the 23 years we were blessed to share with him. Juan's love, determination, laughter, and unforgettable spirit will continue to live in our hearts until we meet again.

Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever remembered.
